From Llanfair Caereinion you can catch the small steam train, which puffs its way through supreme landscapes to Welshpool where you can walk along the Montgomery Canal and visit Powys Castle.
Also within a short distance we have Lake Vyrnwy and Bala Lake.
For the more active members of the family, there are many nearby golf courses and leisure centres.
The park is five minutes away from the nearest public house and ten minutes from the nearest convenience store and petrol station.
